An introduction to the news

An Introduction to the news I researched news stories on the 27/09/2018 The stories consisted of 1. Grenfell Inquiry: Fears fire crews would not survive, says chief. 2. Adultery is no longer a criminal offence in India. 3. Uber pays $148m over data breach cover-up. 4. Hayabusa 2 rovers send new images from Ryugu surface. The opening sequence for the news showed the BBC news logo and a theme song to familiarise its viewers with an opening sequence they can recognise. At the start of the show the presenters gave a little bit of background to the stories. Part 2 The newsreaders were Dan Walker, 47, from West Sussex and Louise Minchin, 50, from British Hong Kong. To be a news reader you would have to have good speaking skills and be well spoken.   Most newsreaders have to research topics and background information for items to be featured on the programme, plan and rehearse shows, write and sometimes memorise scripts, keep the programme running to schedule, read from

Unit 2 risk assessment

Unit 2 risk assessment Things that could go wrong while filming in the areas that we have chosen: For the opening two shots, where me and Connor were walking along the road. Potentially, this could be dangerous if a car was to be coming down that road, so we would have to always be overly conscious of our surroundings and of others.  The only other scene where there may be a potential safety risk is where Raeven is running towards me and Connor with the camera to make it look first person. If Raeven was to trip and fall during the static camera shot, not only would she be injured, the camera and microphone would be badly broken and make unusable. There isn't a lot of things you can do to make sure someone doesn't fall over whilst running because it isn't very common however caution will be taken when undergoing this scene.

Unit 2 Evaluation

Unit 2 Evaluation The Brief For the Unit 2 'Rainbow Magnum' TV advert, we were tasked with successfully re-marketing the ice cream brand 'Magnum' from adults to children. I think that the topic brief was met with our 'Rainbow Magnum advert' also creating a new target audience for the brand. I featured as one of the actors throughout the advert. I also wrote some of the story and co-filmed some of the shots. I also did all of the editing for the advert and imposed all post production video affects and music. I think that the light hearted feel of the advert and the exciting new ice cream product would interest children. Post production comments and feedback The feedback we received for the finished product was mainly good with a lot of people liking the editing style and concept. we received some constructive criticism for the product as well as praise with comments relating to the music and the voice over during the scene with the unicorn.
